Roadtrip from Seattle to Sacramento

Friday, February 16, Robert and I flew to Seattle. We were going to meet up with Robert's mom, step-dad and his aunt and uncle. Friday and Saturday we all were preparing the house to be put on the market. Sunday morning Robert and I hit the road in Robert's new car to Sacramento. Robert's new car was the car his grandpa and grandma used to drive. We sadly said goodbye to everyone and we hit the road. Our plan was to take Interstate 5 all the way to Sacramento. We did turn off to see Cannon Beach in Oregon. We got to cross the Astoria Megler Bridge. Astoria was the city where they filmed the movie Goonies. After crossing the bridge you are in Oregon! Our next destination was Cannon Beach. It was pretty cold out on the beach and weather wasn't the best for pictures. It was nice to see parts of the Oregon coast though. Everything was so green and beautiful!

We drove through Portland and we stayed the night in Eugene.

Mt. Shasta! We are back in California!!

Lake Shasta.

Hi Liza, Looks like you and Robert had a great time on his birthday. I loved the pictures you took at Lake Shasta, they look like post cards. I always enjoy reading your blog, you guys do such exciting things.
See you Soon,
Cheryl

It doesn't really matter whether it's a brand new car or perhaps one of the used cars Sacramento has to offer which you're using, this roadtrip would surely be fun either way!
